Who runs Road Bread?

Hi friends, my name is Cierra. Road Bread is a one-woman operation. The concept, drawings, website and so on are all products of my overactive brain. I'm a freelance graphic designer with lots of time spent as a bartender and barista. My best friend Tori deserves an honorary co-founder title for keeping me sane and always backing up my crazy ideas. So when I say "we" its really just me and my unpaid bff holding things down over here :)

Where do the ideas come from?

Mostly from my brain reading things wrong. I have dyslexia, which means I've spent my whole life accidentally finding wordplay in places it was never intended. Most of the designs come from the same place- just a slightly scrambled brain that finds something funny and refuses to let it go.

Do you actually make bread?

Accepted Answer

Well I do make bread however you will likely never find real loafs on here. I'm an avid baker and make a genuinely good sourdough, however I've also interned at real bakeries as a teenager and learned that production baking kills the joy for me. If you know me in real life you are welcome to request a treat and I will almost always deliver.
